What really happened at Santa Clara...

In response to Jeremy's request to clean up my post, I've decided to... clean up my post. So- here goes.

We completely dominated Santa Clara in a distinctly 'Paul-esque' fashion. Without much research or work compiling position papers we were able to completely out-MUN the other schools present at the conference. That being said, Cal High won the gavels (which we arguably deserved) due to the inordinate amount of work they put into their (27 page long) position papers.

In conclusion, I'm just going to whine some more about how we should have won and blahdee blah blah.

Go Dons! (We need a MUN cheer btw)

Thanks Chan...You are right, we were able to do incredibly well with our pre-existing knowledge and great ability to think on our feet. But you were also right that the gavels all swung in Cal High's direction. Combining our natural talents with a tiny bit of work would redirect that swing.

As for pulling a Paul, Paul was good at MUN but could have been great. He had the quick, charasimatic skills Acalanes MUN is known for. That said he only won one gavel and that was when he was up against only other Acalanes students. I firmly believe that had he researched a bit more he would have been incredible not just impressive.

P.S. Paul, if you're reading this...don't hate me...
